Congress is still in recess. On Tuesday, Republicans are hosting a field hearing in Tulare, California on California water policy, unsurprisingly pushing the message that industry should get whatever it wants. The White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs is lowering the discount rate. And the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is looking to propose strong tailpipe pollution standards that would “ensure up to two-thirds of all new cars sold by 2032 will be fully electric,” reports indicate. The seas are boiling hot and the superbloom has begun.
